Rev. Dennis Logston

Youth & Worship Pastor Interim Lead Pastor

Rev. Dennis Logston

Pastor Dennis and his wife, Katelyn, joined the Faith Journey family in 2024. A Blair, Nebraska native, Dennis followed God’s call to ministry by attending MidAmerica Nazarene University. After completing his studies, he returned to the Omaha area with a passion for serving the local church.

At Faith Journey, Dennis wears two meaningful hats. He serves as our Youth Pastor, guiding students in discovering a deeper relationship with God, and as our Worship Pastor, leading the congregation in heartfelt worship through both traditional hymns and modern praise music.

Dennis is a lover of music, dogs, and a board game enthusiast.

Lori Ponec

Children's Ministry Director

Lori Ponec

Lori has been in the Faith Journey family since her youngest child was born. She loves that her children have had so many fantastic mentors in this church. She has taught Wednesday evenings as well as Sunday children’s church and directed the program. She wants kids to come to church because they want to learn more about Jesus not just because Mom and Dad want them too. She tries to make each lesson something that all the elementary children can get a message from and take home and share with the family. Lori has many wonderful volunteers that make this program work.

What does she do in her spare time? She has a horse named Bella and loves to spend time with her. She also enjoys riding her motorcycle and growing and canning her own produce. She has an amazing husband and three great kids. She is blessed.
