Faith Journey Church, led by the NMI council, collected items and made blankets to place in chemo bags for cancer patients. These 30 kits were completed on Wednesday, February 23rd and were distributed to Buffett Cancer Center, Estabrook Cancer Center, and Village Pointe UNMC Infusion Center.
The kits contained fleece blankets, chemo caps, chemo totes, snacks, and other items. The church prayed over the chemo bags, that they would be a blessing and a comfort to those who receive them. More than anything, Faith Journey Church hopes this act of kindness will lead people to the love of Jesus!
